To ensure that Aus Wing Chun training is safe and enjoyable for everyone, a number of training conditions apply to all trainees. i.At least one training class must be viewed or participated before joining the Academy. ii. All Aus Wing Chun practitioners will remain fit or otherwise medically cleared to undertake training and will notify the instructor(s) immediately should an injury or disability occur whilst training. Or notify the instructor(s) before commencing any training session of any injury that has occurred outside the Aus Wing Chun Academy training hours. iii. At no time are any Aus Wing Chun practitioners under any obligation to participate or train in any technique or condition they deem to be unsafe. iv. All Aus Wing Chun practitioners will abide by the training instructions and Kwoon rules for etiquette and safety at all times. (Available online and on request.) v. All members and ex members of the Aus Wing Chun Academy are to act in a responsible manner when representing or wearing anything that represents the Aus Wing Chun Academy uniforms or tee shirts, and are responsible for their own actions. vi. If any member of the Aus Wing Chun Academy misses three consecutive months of training without notification, will loose all rights as a member of the Academy and will have to re-apply for membership and if accepted, pay any subsequent joining costs. (this includes standard training ex. Sunday Session.) vii. All members of the Aus Wing Chun Academy must be insured at all times. Either through the clubs insurance that is offered, or if using personal insurance proof must be shown. viii. No drugs or alcohol other than prescription drugs are to be consumed or used when training or representing the Aus Wing Chun Academy. Anyone found to be under the influence of these non-prescribed substances will be asked to leave the training session or venue immediately and the necessary disciplinary action may be taken, which may include expulsion or suspension.
I recognise that some risks or injury are possible in martial arts training. Therefore, I agree and take full responsibility for my actions and therefore agree not to make any claims against the Aus Wing Chun Academy, instructors or agents. In respect to any loss of property or injury on person (including injury relating to permanent injury or death) which I may suffer during or as a consequence of any activity associated with the Aus Wing Chun Academy.
5.EXCLUSION OF APPLICANT.
