In 1949, Yip Man the Grandmaster of Modern Wing Chun, brought this style from mainland China into Hong Kong and eventually into the rest of the world.

The youngest son of the late Grandmaster Yip Man born in Foshan 1936. He began his Wing Chun training at the age of 11 under the close attention of his father.In 1962 Ip Ching left China to join his father in Hong Kong.

Ron Heimberger (President of the WCKFC)
Master Ron Heimberger is a direct disciple of Grandmaster Ip Ching. One of only three masters in the United States and fully certified by the Grandmaster himself. Master Heimberger travels worldwide conducting seminars for martial artists. Recognized in both national and international circles as an expert in Wing Chun. Master Heimberger currently presides as the Director of the Ip Ching Wing Chun Athletic Association.

Kyri has been learning Wing Chun in London, England under the watchful eye of his Sifu Terry Estcourt and Si Gong Master Heimberger for over 8 years. Training intensely both privately and in groups 4-5 times a week. Kyri has also be an assistant Instructor to Sifu Terry Estcourt and has covered many of his Sifu's classes. It is with this experience and Sifu's approval that Kyri is able to teach Wing Chun in Western Australia.
